StrideCare is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Will Stephens, DPM of Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists to their network. StrideCare is the largest Texas-based multi-specialty medical network including podiatry, vascular, and wound care providers.
About Will Stephens, DPM
Returning to his home state of Texas, Dr. Will Stephens is joining Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists at the podiatric practice’s Kaufman and Rockwell locations. Dr. Stephens is passionate about providing life changing treatments for foot and ankle concerns. Adds Dr. Stephens, “By being a part of the StrideCare network my patients will benefit from complete and comprehensive care of their lower extremities. This includes podiatry, wound care, vascular medicine and more.”
Dallas-based StrideCare is a physician’s group at the forefront of comprehensive care for the lower extremities. Its providers offer multidisciplinary treatment options for complications involving the lower leg, including the foot and ankle.
Dr. Stephens has medical interests that includes diabetic limb salvage and exploring conservative treatment options before invasive procedures. His surgical interests include elective or cosmetic forefoot surgery, rearfoot and ankle reconstruction, and trauma. As an avid fitness buff, he also has an interest in sports medicine.
After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas, Dr. Stephens attended Kent State University in Independence, OH for his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine. A one-year preceptorship with the Institute of Podiatric Excellence and Development in Howell, NJ followed. His residency in Podiatric Medicine and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery was completed at Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center in North Bergen, NJ. Dr. Stephen shares, “I appreciated my experience in other states, but I’m glad to be back in Texas to practice podiatry.”
