About Dr. Abdul-Rahim

Board-certified in both interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology, Dr. Osama Abdul-Rahim specializes in minimally invasive treatments for vascular disease, with a strong focus in treating both the arteries and veins in the legs.

From varicose veins to ulcers that will not heal, Dr. Abdul-Rahim excels in using the most up-to-date technologies including, but not limited to, atherectomy, radiofrequency ablation, thrombectomy and stenting. He is committed to helping patients live healthier lives. Having performed over 7,500 interventional radiology procedures, Dr. Abdul-Rahim values the trust that patients put in his expertise and skills. Dr. Abdul-Rahim treats every patient question and concern with respect.

Dr. Abdul-Rahim graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine with his MD in 2010. After his internship, he continued his training with a diagnostic radiology residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center. A fellowship in interventional radiology at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital followed. Prior to joining StrideCare, Dr. Abdul-Rahim spent five years at University of South Alabama Health System as both an Assistant professor and Section Chief of Interventional Radiology, where he was honored with an award for Best Radiology Teacher 2017-2018.

Not only is Dr. Abdul Rahim board-certified by the American Board of Radiology in interventional and diagnostic radiology, but he is also a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR). He has numerous published articles and is a sought-after speaker at conferences and meetings.

Dr. Abdul-Rahim feels that every person deserves to be able to do what they love. Thus, in developing individualized treatment plans, he gives every patient his best and complete focus. His philosophy is “Do the right thing, do the best you can, don’t lose sight of what’s important, and never stop caring”. Dr. Abdul-Rahim and StrideCare believe a patient’s care does not begin when the doctor and patient meet. Rather, it involves the entire team including the patient plus all office staff, nurses, and physicians.

In his free time, Dr. Abdul-Rahim enjoys outdoor time with his family. They swim, bike, hike and play sports together. They love to play and get silly! He also enjoys trying new restaurants for date nights with his wife, game nights with friends, and watching movies.

About Dr. Arrington

William Arrington, DPM, FACFAS, is an experienced podiatrist at Texas Foot & Ankle Specialists, PLLC, which has convenient locations in Mesquite, Rowlett, Wylie, Forney, and Kaufman, Texas. 

A Texas native, Dr. Arrington received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University before attending the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where he received his degree in podiatric medicine. During this time, he also worked at the Veterans Hospital in Cleveland and Brecksville, Ohio. In 2003, Dr. Arrington completed his podiatric medicine and surgical residency in Dallas, Texas, and went on to start a private practice with Dr. Robert Young in Mesquite, Texas.

Dr. Arrington is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, a Diplomate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Physician Specialties. Dr. Arrington holds the honor of being one of the select few double board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons in Foot Surgery and Foot and Ankle Reconstruction. He is involved in the Dallas community as the Past President of Dallas County Podiatric Society and Podiatric Medical Partners of Texas. In recent years, he was also elected as the Chief of Staff for Baylor Medical Center – Sunnyvale, a rare honor for podiatrists in the country.

Outside of his enthusiasm for podiatry, Dr. Arrington spends his time at his home in Heath, Texas, with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys church, golf, hunting, fishing, and is an Aggie Football fan.
