Alejandro Garza, MD, RPVI, is a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon providing comprehensive vascular care throughout the Rio Grande Valley. Born in the Valley and raised along the U.S.–Mexico border, Dr. Garza has deep roots in the community he serves.
He earned his medical degree in Monterrey, Mexico, subsequently completed vascular and wound-healing research at Northwestern University in Chicago. He returned to South Texas as a member of the inaugural class of the UTRGV/DHR General Surgery Residency Program before completing his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2022.
