Catherine Shaw, MD
Dr. Cathryn Shaw, MD, is devoted to educating women on fibroid treatment options and providing the highest standard of care to increase positive outcomes and reduce downtime. She has 15 years of experience and received her education and training from several prestigious universities, including the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the University of Tennessee Medical Center, and Baylor University Medical Center.
Since 2012, Dr. Shaw’s noteworthy career includes partnering in one of the largest private practice radiology groups in the United States to perform high-end, tertiary care and interventional procedures at three hospitals and one outpatient surgical center. Together with her team, she is used to performing over 20,000 vascular and interventional radiology procedures per year. Concurrently, she has been the associate program director for diagnostic radiology at Baylor University Medical Center since 2018. She was also the quality assurance interventional radiology chair at Baylor University Medical Center for nine years. Dr. Shaw served as chief of Interventional Radiology at a large academic center for over five years and has trained both residents and fellows on her technique.
