Jinal Mehta, DPM

Jinal Mehta, DPM, of Premier Foot & Ankle provides empathetic care to children, adults and seniors with foot and ankle disorders at our Frisco location. She is well versed in all areas of podiatric care including but not limited to preventive care, trauma, regenerative medicine, diabetic limb salvage and elective foot reconstruction. She is particularly passionate about peripheral arterial disease (PAD), diabetic limb salvage and wound care. She believes in empowering her patients by educating them about their condition and offering both conservative as well as surgical treatment options to help support them through recovery.

Dr. Mehta completed her undergraduate training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minored in chemistry. She then completed her medical training at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where she initiated the Save A Leg, Save A Life Chapter as part of a National wound care organization. During her time in school, Dr. Mehta traveled for a medical mission as part of the Liga International Flying Doctors of Mercy and served those in need in the rural area of Sinaloa, Mexico. Dr. Mehta then went on to an extensive three year reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgical residency training at the prestigious Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY & the North Shore (Northwell) University Hospital, Manhasset, NY.
