P. Allen Hartsell, MD

Dr. Hartsell is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients in San Antonio. His clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage, venous conditions such as varicose veins and deep vein thrombosis, carotid artery disease, aortic aneurysms, and dialysis access for patients with kidney disease.

Dr. Hartsell earned his BA in Microbiology from the University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed his general surgery training at Scott & White Memorial Hospital and his vascular surgery fellowship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
