Board Certified Vascular Surgeon

Dr. Randall W. Franz, MD, is a dual board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeon. For sixteen years, he served as the Chief and Medical Director of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at OhioHealth- Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. In 2020, he was recruited to become the System Chief and Medical Director of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery of the five adult hospitals of Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Franz is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the following: Chairman of the International College of Angiology (Fellow), American Venous Forum, Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, American College of Surgeons (Fellow), Society of Vascular Surgery, Society of Vascular Ultrasound, American Vein and Lymphatic Society, and Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society. He has held over 50 leadership positions, participated in over 15 medical trials, and serves on an advisory board relating to Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. He has served as an assistant professor of surgery for Northeastern Ohio School of Medicine, an associate professor of surgery for the Ohio State University School of Medicine, and a professor of surgery for the Ohio University School of Medicine. Dr. Franz has been awarded Who’s Who, Leading Physician of the World, Top Doctor, #1 in the nation for quality and medical excellence by CareChex and Patient Satisfaction in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery.
