Dr. Ambur is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), with specialty interests in minimally invasive endovascular techniques for the treatment of complex aortic aneurysms, lower extremity peripheral vascular disease, carotid disease, and dialysis access. He is also registered in non-invasive vascular laboratory interpretation (RPVI).
Dr. Ambur is trained in minimally invasive endovascular approaches and strives to provide advanced, comprehensive vascular care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
Originally from Yorktown, Virginia, Dr. Ambur earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from the Georgia Institute of Technology before going on to complete his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at Temple University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident, and subsequently completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Ambur has been in practice since 2019 and sees patients at the VSA Hanover and VSA Vascular Center locations.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Ambur is a lifelong Atlanta Falcons fan. He enjoys traveling, tennis, and CrossFit, and cherishes time spent with his wife and two children.
